see url What is the difference between regular Club Meetings and the Speechcraft course?
The course is the fast track for people in a hurry to have the core public speaking skills. It is based on education followed by action. Smaller numbers = intensive participation. Most people commence the course at a beginner's level; some attend to refresh their skills.
http://hickscountry.com/ What commitment does the course require?
The amount of time you put into preparation for speech assignments each week is up to you. During the course you would be programmed for three 'major' speeches of 3 - 5 minutes and a number of minor assignments. Impromptu speaking and MC tasks do not require much preparation. I would expect, on average a minimum of 2 hours work between sessions, perhaps 3 hours when preparing a speech, more if you want to put in more research and practice. Some time each week is needed to read through your course notes.
